About the Book

Guests at Roddy’s two restaurants in South Africa and now at Ta Piatakia, have always claimed that part of their ongoing attraction to his food is that he makes them feel like they are a vital ingredient. Right from their first encounter with this valued food personality, their experiences inevitably lead to enduring relationships. As a result of these friendships and the deep involvement and enjoyment from both Roddy and his guests with the evolution of the food of Roddy’s Cyprus, his book, “My Little Plates…” has been created as a celebration of contemporary Cypriot cuisine.
